I'm looking for a Morgan Out Island 416 or Allied Mistress 39. Want to start circumnavigation. If you know one, please don't hesitate inform me!

Re: Want buy seaworthy boat for circumnavigation
Out of pure interest: why do you want these specific designs?
I am asking, because I sometimes think of boats that could one day take us on another extended cruise and then I found designs like Rival 38 / Southern Cross 35 / Valiant 40 / (etc/etc/etc) would be my choice in the budget category.
Regards,
b.

Sailboat listings .com has a mistress 39 for $25000. Hasn't been on the market long. It shows well in the photos. It was in the bahamas I think.

Re: Want buy seaworthy boat for circumnavigation
I'm looking separated aft cabin version, min. beam 12'.
I have max. 60K $ for all the purchase cost (inc. price, tax, insurance, annual marina cost, etc).
But if you have any offer, I'm open to it.
regards
Krisztian

You can look up a Rival 38 on yachtworld that is in Lefkas Greece. I would say they are spacious, strong and seaworthy. My friends sailed one and I could see their boat up close. Definitely an option (for me) for any extended voyage.
60k incl tax insurance annual marina etc is not a lot of cash and you may struggle to find this size, seaworthy for circumnavigation. I mean US money.
BTW Maybe, if you want a circumnavigation, then annual marina is not this much of an issue?

Re: Want buy seaworthy boat for circumnavigation
Then buy later, save yourself the annual cost, earn interest on your 60k.
Make sure your project management skills match the quality of the boat. It is very easy to take off with a circumnavigation only to get stuck due to wrong planning and lack of experience.
Good luck. It is worth it.

Link may be removed by admins, I think maybe linking to commercial sites is not allowed.
I will send you a PM with a link. There is at least one more, in another place. I just type rival 38 in search window at yachtworld and they pop right up.
Regards,
b.
