pulling prop shaft on B35.5

I need to replace the bellows on a PYI PSS. Looks like the shaft will clear the rudder although supper tight. Others have said engine needs to be pulled forward to gain enough access. Anyone with experience on this? Bristol 35.5 is new to me.
