Talking New update and photos of S/V ORCA....

S/V ORCA is back in the water now. No leaks, -she is as tight as a boat can be.

Husband had them haul her out a second time. He will give me a full report after he catches his breath back at home.

The only damage is the high cost... but it would have been MUCH more if Husband would not have done a LOT of the work himself.

This should be the last of the big spending, but we are still buying some electronics and navigational stuff for her.

These pictures were taken by Jamie White (Clyderigged)
www.theSquareRigger.com

He visited David and ORCA yesterday.

Thanks Jamie, what a nice man you are...

I too look forward to meeting you in person...

That boat just cries for a broad white bootstripe.
Who built that boat? I think I know the design.

She is a L. Francis Herreshoff, Araminta design ketch ...

She'll get one. Something like she had here.

::Laughs::

I should have known Bob was going to comment on her! (I should mention that I went so far as to locate a shipper just so I'd get a chance to see the boat up close and personal.)

Looking mighty yar, Spin Drift. Best of luck for all of you!
