Nauticat 32 deck core

I am thinking about buying a 1998 Nauticat 32. It has teak decks that worry me.
Does anyone know what type of core is in the deck of this boat? Is it plywood, balsa or fiberglass or other?

Re: Nauticat 32 deck core

My 1978 NC33 is all solid glass, except my pilothouse which is wood. Dont think the cores the deck. Teak directly on top of the glass.

In the 80s the pilot houses switched to glass as well. We’re full time cruisers on our 32, fee free to ask any questions. Also check out https://nauticatusa.freeforums.net/
