Looking for a Previous Owner

Folks, have a dilemma.

My boat is an Australian Registered Ship, which means certain formalities are supposed to be done when it changes hands. Unfortunately it seems the last owner didn't transfer title to his name and the prior owners (who are still the ones recorded on the Australian Shipping Registry) didn't advise the Registry of the sale either.

Now he's had the boat for some years, possibly as many as fourteen but this doesn't count. Unfortunately the process is not flexible. I spent some time on the phone with a very fine gentleman who was kind enough to phone me after I emailed him with some questions. They MUST have a signature from the owners of record to transfer the registration. The guy I bought it from is irrelevant to them as he never put the boat in his name other than on the state registration. So I need to trace the prior owners or they most they can do is vacate the registration, with a bill of thousands to put it back on in my name as a fresh registration.

The previous owners have no address other than a PO Box but it's at least possible they are either on this forum or someone on here knows of them.

I'm looking for John Davis Christie and Alicia Heather Christie, last known address was c/- PO Drummoyne NSW, so it's likely they were living aboard at the time. This would have been from 1983 (when the boat was put on the Australian Registry) until somtime in the nineties.
Boat was named 'Aussie Blue' at the time. Given the Aussie Ship Registration (not required for domestic boats) it's likely they cruised overseas at least part of that ten years or so. If anyone knows them, knows of them, or has ever come across them in their travels, I'd be very pleased if they would put them in touch with me or supply some kind of contact details.

So, John and Alicia, if you are still out there somewhere, please get in touch!
