Long Island to Cape Cod / Boston - How Long ?

Hi everyone,
How long do you think it would take to sail from Orient Point to Cape Cod or Boston..or Bar Harbour Maine ?
While I"m at it...How about Manhattan?
Wait a minute..how about Miami and even Bermuda???

MarcPro -

A) How fast does your boat go?

B) How far is your destination?

Divide A into B and the result is how long it will take you.

Unless you stop somewhere.

If you are willing to run overnight, you can be in Maine in 36 hours if you average 6 knots. Figure out what your average speed is then simply plot courses. Keep in mind that if you plan on using the cape cod canal, you will need to hit it with a favorable current.
