Yes and some/most already have a lot of weight up front with their Anchors and chain rode. Weight in the Bow becomes even more of a consideration!

Balance

I agree with most of this. I ballance my boat according to the waterline and how it handles at sea. I have also upgraded my engine by 20 HP and that added weight to my stern. Once the boat is balanced I try to keep it that way by paying attention to what goes where and what comes out.
