I'm thinking of buying an H22. Can it be single handed easily?

Welcome aboard!
Sorry I don't know Humphreys but most any 22 footer can be single handed pretty easily. My Catalina 22 was a dream to single hand. You can make nearly any boat a little easier to single hand by leading running rigging where you can get to it easier.
