Grand Soleil 46.3 Opinions

Hi, I'm new to the forum. I'm looking for a good boat to sail with my wife around the world. I have chosen a Grand Soleil 46.3. I have sailed with a friend a couple of times and the boat sails beautifully. Any other experiences before I commit?

Have you had the chance to sail her in heavier seas?
Hows the water and fuel tankage?
I've seen two and was wondering about the height of the life line stanchions...they seemed very low.
Are they all blue (the only two I've ever seen were)...I'm wondering about them getting hot.

Thanks for your reply. Yes, I sailed her and is a very quick and stable boat.

You are rigth with the stanchions, they are a little low. Maybe something I will change. About the colour, yes, blue is definitely hot. I was thinking to paint her white next time. I have seen one and looked very nice.
