Re: Fantasy Sailboat

Doesn't seem any one won the Mega Millions tonight. So keep on dreaming on!
It's almost $125M in Cali after taxes per this lottery calculator

Off to Google some beautiful cruisers.........

Re: Fantasy Sailboat

Huh. Interesting timing on this revival to an old thread. I was looking at a Nordhavn 56 motorsailer the other day and thinking, Hmmmm, maybe I should compromise on the old wishlist

Re: Fantasy Sailboat

For me it would be a custom one-off 40-45 ft Rhodes, Mason, Luders or Alberg full-keel design in steel or aluminum. Cutter-ketch.

Have it just the way I want it with no concern for cost.

That's as good as it gets.

I would really consider one of these for the PNW.

Cassidy's Sailing Trawler

Re: Fantasy Sailboat

My alden boothbay challenger 58 is just about exactly what I want in a boat. if I hit the mega millions tomorrow I'd have a brand new one built with some minor tweaks.

Re: Fantasy Sailboat

I would buy a new Cherubini 44. Then I would use the rest to hire the Swedish bikini team to crew it and sail the world!

You said fantasy sailboat!

Thx-Ace

It's a Hanse 675, obviously, because it has such a nice colour!

I would have a 29m gulet and someone else to pay the fuel bill!

Great minds think alike! I actually married the Swedish Bikini team (yes she is from Sweden!), and I agree it makes the sailing adventures much more fun! Our dream boat is an Oyster 565 and we are lucky enough for it to be a possibility for our adventures...and the only winning lotto I had was marrying my amazing wife
