My understanding, a test ride would start with how you get the
boat ready, cast off and leave the
dock. If that looks really good they may tell you to go right back and, if your
docking is OK, call it good. Might want you to go out, hoist
sails, tack and gibe once.
With your background I assume an interview and any questions about
navigation,
weather, etc would be a walk in the park.
