I do have the 6' draft and have had no problem with it so far, I sailing out of vancouver though, and havent even had anything close. I just replaced all of the through hulls, I had the boat out of the water and just took the old through hulls in when I got the old ones. Western has all of the flush ones if you are in the vancouver area.
I need to do the headliner and I was wondering how it is done on some of the other ones.
