In 10,000, it's more likely to be under a mile of ice year round.😊

No. Actually at this point, human caused change has broken that cycle.
Which is a good thing.
And which probably started more than 5000+ years ago with the advent of human agriculture.

My other point is that it makes no difference how many ice breakers are in the Arctic. Etc.

Same dierence both say that the expedition stopped about 600 miles short due to ice. Their goal was to make the pole they didnt make it. They failed to meet their goals.
