When the bomb is dropped and all the civilizations crumble, you guys will still be arguing about this.
Go sailing!

It's about the funniest thing I've seen.
I heard this guy on a local talk radio station and my son and I couldn't stop laughing, kinda reminds me of the MMGW cultists honestly...all conspiracy and doom and gloom.

Re: Global Warming Opens Up Antarctic Waterways
Don't panic fellas. I haven't finished my AGM research on coral yet, but preliminary observations show no perceivable change in sea level as coral heads are still reaching LAT or a little above. The coral looks healthy, the fish are many and happy, salinity is as high as ever and my eyes didn't burn out from ocean acidity. Seabirds abound. Even the butterflies that swarm in number this time of year appear fine.

Re: Global Warming Opens Up Antarctic Waterways
Couple of photos of a resort and the city of Mahle in the Maldives.
Now consider the government of Maldives blames advanced industrial countries for climate change and seawater rising.
Coral reefs and cays are a moving transient situation. Is it our problem when weather damages the multinational owned resort pictured when structures are damaged by storms.
Ist time I had seen a picture of the Maldives capital of Mahle. The picture tells it all. Could one could be persuaded the number of high rise buildings and density of structures would be enough for the coral cay to sink???
Wow. Deffinitely climate change is the cause here

That is a link. Not a cut and paste.
In school (secondary, undergrad and grad school) I learned about quoting authorities as a means supporting contentions. Try it sometime; it is called evidence.

Do you know what cult means? It means "small culture".
With regards to climate change though, it's the deniers who are the minority.
97% of climate scientists agree on climate change. Other scientists and people with science educations agree. Governments agree. Most of the general population agree.
YOU are part of a cult.

Jack, copy and paste of links, txt, Utube etc is merely a lazy approach to the argument. Yes I am a skeptic. I read, I consider, I listen ,I look around me. Like just about everyone. I am far from convinced.
The serious scientists are frustrated by the shallow arguments of the pom Pom cheer leaders/groupies of the prattling warmists. Typically represented by your journalist mate and Professor Tim Flannery etc. Every country has them. This is why the science isn't settled and the warmists just can't get the scientific traction they crave.
The more radical the theories become, the more data is interfered with, the more people screeching the science is settled, the more the considered middle becomes skeptic. Summer is coming here. Each day is warmer than the last. Towards the end of September the reverse will happen. Just like it always does.
If you firmly believe in your position then be a bit more considered and disciplined and you may make better headway.
