I live in Bremerton, WA. I can get to Texas on my own. I have experience sailing my Catalina 27 here in Puget Sound. Would like to experience longer passages. I helped a friend get his 35' sailboat from Ketchikan to Poulsbo last fall without incident.
I'm retired, 66 years old. Former aircraft and medical equipment tech. I'm good at troubleshooting and fixing things.

Hi, have you found a crew mate yet or have you already completed the trip? I’m in New Orleans and just landed after a month long trip from Fort Meyers to New Orleans on a 26’ day sailer. I have also sailed from New Orleans to Isla Mujeres and then on to Belize and Guatemala on a 23’ pocket cruiser. Love being on the open seas. Good navigator and can hold a course.
