I'd second that notion.

I don't want to sound religous. But I have noticed how things around the world is worser than it was 20 years ago.

Yeah well. My son is 14 and is getting into dinghy sailing in a big way. Hopefully he's got another 60 years sailing at least.

I hear there is a nice anchorage at Mt Arrarat
I am quite sure civilization will still be here in 60 years. I just do not know if it will be what we recognize now. My comment was more one of age than of scinisizm. Climate change will make for some interesting changes to the current favorite cruising destinations. I would love to sail northern Alaska in my lifetime.
