Cruising Mexico's Pacific Coast

Hi Folks!
Mary and I have spent 6 years cruising on the Pacific Coast of Mexico and wrote up our recommendations and posted them on our website for anyone interested. We did this for our many friends who are heading down this season on the Baja Haha. Take a look and email directly if you like with any comments!
You can get there via Raptor Dance and the "Cruising in Mexico" Link or go there directly via Cruising in Mexico
Fair winds!

Folks, Bill and Mary know of what they write. That's an excellent write-up on the Mexican Riveria cruising scene. It's what I would have written if I was as generous as the RaptorDance.

Cheers,

Bill and Mary,
Thank you so much for the excellent info
I have just learned about BofA and Santander connection in Ensenada after I left my debit card in Santa Barbara...
They transferred money from my BofA account to Santander in Ensenada for me at no charge

The Santander Serfin/B of A connection is a great thing. We use their ATMs when in Mexico (withdraws pesos) instead of changing dollars down there. Have always received a better rate than anywhere else.

Typo fixed and some additions.

Hi folks!

Sorry for not catching this sooner, but an bad typo was pointed out to me and it's now fixed.

The $0.60 per foot rate for the two marinas in Banderas Bay is PER DAY not per month! I also forgot to mention "Plus 15% Tax on all the rates.

Some additional tidbits were added.

Regards,
Bill

Thank you so much again. I enjoy it immensely even with typos...

Welcome in Monterey!

I have heard that BofA customers don't pay ATM fees at Scotiabank in Mexico as well.

Do you know if there is a similar deal between BofA and any other bank in Central America except Mexico?

BofA's website lists the following international banks as being no fee for BofA customers:

Barclays (United Kingdom)
BNP Paribas (France)
China Construction Bank (China)
Deutsche Bank (Germany)
Santander Serfin (Mexico)
Scotiabank (Canada)
Westpac (Australia and New Zealand)

I didn't see anything about Central America on their site.

Daz - some of the banks you have listed will have branches in Central and South America. Citibank does too. Their ATM policy should extend there.
Cheers, Bill
