Macwester 26

Can anyone tell me what the information on this plate mounted on my mac 26.
Im supposing RT means registered tonnage?, not sure about ON and number, some sort of registration? But with whom and where.
Hope someone can help.

This boat must be registered in Part I the British Register or the register of some former British colony

Once maybe.. SSR is younger than the boat so Part1 would have been needed for sailing to France.

Thanks guys, does this mean that it is on the British register part 1 or does it lapse? And is it possible to access the register for details?

If the previous owner to you had it SSR registered then its been deregistered from Part1.. which is most likely as SSR when it started with the RYA was much cheaper and less complicated than transferring the Part1 to a new owner.
If you don't know, then the only way to find out is to contact Lloyds.

You can write to the Register and request a transcript. It used to cost about 20 quid
