I don't see what all the fuss is about, easy fix, I'd be more concerned about the ball of rust in the engine room.

Engine room pics looks terribly ominous as does the standing water stain in the cockpit. Pictures look like a variety of dates. Location in the Keys and long time since last hurricane there makes me suspicious of this being FloridaMan's flophouse. The smaller derelict in the background of one pic seems to be nearly rafted up in the damage photo.
