Re: Forget Covid, Fukushima is what you should be really worried about

And the last 12,000 years has been a warming period after the last Ice Age and during the last 120,000 years ice ages have predominated. So my take on the situation is that statistically we are more likely to be going into another Ice Age and if the global warming theory holds water we are being irresponsible in not recycling CO2 if this would help mitigate another Ice Age onset.

These are all senseless arguments anyway and there are very good reasons to abandon burning carbon and hydrocarbon minerals for energy when good alternatives are available.

Renewables are a dead end and we need to allow the engineers to design the transition away from the existing system and get the zealots and baby kissing politicians and snake oil salesmen out of the business.

But renewables make more money than a long life efficient system..
Profits have always been the driver of 'progress'..
Have often wondered how many Patents for more efficient long life products have been bought up by corporations and dumped in the basement.
A two year lifespan is so much more profitable and creates the addiction for the latest greatest tech.
