Fixing Leaks on PVC Dinghy

Just wondering if anyone has ever tried putting the glue on the inside of the dinghy to seal leaks. Just bought a sailboat that came with a dinghy that is in great shape other than small leaks mostly on the seams of the boats.

Re: FIXING LEAKS ON PVC DINGHY

If you are talking about the liquid sealant that comes in a quart and you pour it in and roll the dinghy around to spread it all over, then yes, I have used it with success on a dinghy that just generally leaked but did not have any holes.

Also, for a PVC dinghy with seam leaks, I have had success using PVC pipe cement to coat the seams.

Re: Fixing Leaks on PVC Dinghy

Did you use a specific brand of liquid sealant? Just wondering what worked best for you.

If the question was to me, I used a product by a company called Inland Marine. I can't say that it worked best for me because it was the only product I tried.
