There are lots of anchorages on the way. Once you reach Tasmania's
east coast, they get a bit scarce in terms of all-weather protection, but there are well marked headlands etc for shelter. The better anchorages start around Wineglass Bay on the Forestier Peninsula, although that can be a bit rolly if there's a swell running out at sea. South of there you have Triabunna which is all-weather or anchorages inside Maria Island which are also good (watch the anchorages on the
seaward wide of Maria as they can get a swell in them). South from there you have Fortescue bay which is OK in most
weather but can get a swell, and then it's around the corner to Port Arthur which is all
weather. From there to Hobart here are plenty of them. Cheers.
