I've been watching the list all summer. The weather is turning in the PacNW and all of a sudden the last couple of days Seattle CL is loaded with sailboats. I swear every powerboat in the NW has been for sale all summer, but limited number of sailboats.
There's an Ingrid 38 ketch with wind vane, volvo diesel etc for $29k. Been stored quite a while.
There's a French Built Jouet 34 for $10k or offer. Needs engine work but offshore equipped. (san juan islands)
I have no relation to any of these, just though I'd pass it on. People want to dump their boats before winter sets in. May be the same in other parts of the country too.
So if you've been discouraged... start shopping for the blue light specials!
PS: theres a new rebuilt, never run, Perkins 4-107 with gear on Seattle Cl also for $3500

2 years ago there was a 30+ft pearson for sale in Maryland for 6000.00 USD. And it was loaded. Now is getting into the time to buy a boat. Especially in this economy.

Reminds me of the Newport 30 I saw for $3995 with a diesel engine in Anacortes. Amazing prices if you are in the market.

In my area There's currently a Columbia 36 for $7k. and a Sea Sprite 28 for $4k.
And I know of Jeauneau 23 for $2500 (or less) in excellent condition. Haven't seen the other two, but they are not listed as 'projects' and claim to be in good, sail-ready condition, Pics & description look good.

Have a FWC Atomic 4 in a 27 Catalina......needs bottom paint and a good compounding....

I just noticed there is a Center Cockpit Ingrid 38 Cutter, that is not a stored/project like the other one on Seattle CL also. For $34,500! Talk about budget cruising! It's got a Hercules diesel (?) anyone know what that is?

There's a 1960 Rhodes Swiftsure 33' on eBay in New Jersey for sale for 7,500. It looks to be in pretty good shape. That's a boat with the potential to cross oceans.
