GET HERE----- i mayjust be in the anchorage on a mooring owned by club nautico and rented by mario, the facilitator of choice for decent work at realistic prices..he is a good guy.
the anchorage is easier to enter than is the marina-- is also about 7 miles south of the marina entrance, and not as tricky as the entrance to marina, which should only be done with a local, as the shoal is tricky, and must be addressed at high tide. old harbor is easy to enter and much closer to much of the life in centro district, and closer to cheaper foods. seems most who stay in marina are wealthy beyond my visions..lol. rent for my boat in summer is 520 plus electricity and ...... only payments out in old harbor on anchor are the 50 peso daily dinghy landing fees, which keep you protected from many things like loss in daylight and gives shower and wifi privileges. i dont know how much i will have to pay for mario's med mooring...old harbor is also closer to the shrimper boats and their haul yards.... which are better in my case than singlar yard in marina.

correction onmy rent rate--in WINTER the rent is high--520 plus electricity.... in summer for summer special, is 350 plus electricity.

We have been anchored this past several weeks in lake Boca Raton.

The city has a boat launching ramp and dock at which it is possible to
lie for a few hours to load provisions and such. There is also water.

There is also a place to leave the dink.

The town is nice, though upscale.

Publix is within walking distance about a mile west of the
Camino Real Bridge over the ICW, on Camino Real and the intersection
with US 1.

Are these rates Dollars per week, or Pesos per 6 months, or ??

That seems a bit steep Zee.
I pay 269+23 for water and electric where I'm at here in the states. That's about 8 bucks a foot plus water and electric. I'll stick with the Rio Dulce instead.

$8/ft/month - that is great! Over on the east side of Florida $10 to $15/ft/month is the normal. From looking at a few marinas north of Florida, they seem to have the same high rates. And even crazier, boatyard rates are equal or higher than marina slip rates.

$3.80/ft/month here on the Chesapeake Bay at the mouth of the Potomac. $7.50 if you want electric and to liveaboard full time.

My rent rate here in the PNW (Port Townsend, WA): slip rental, lease hold tax, live aboard fee, lease hold tax, enviromental fee, power hook up fee AND two mini storages, is about $375 metered power in winter is about $60/mo.
My bill to the port of around $400 is one of those "land ties" that will be freeing up funds when I leave

I pay less than $2000/yr here at the Cambridge Municipal Marina - it's mid-Chesapeake Bay, and you can walk into town. Has showers and washer/dryers.

It's for a 40' slip for the Cal; I pay $1745 plus actual electric as metered. I don't liveaboard and have never inquired about it.

7.25 ft/mo here. no liveaboard fee (liveaboards not allowed...nobody lives aboard, we're all just passing through, very slowly ), metered electric.

renting from my boss who owns the slip (his boat sank 2 years ago) so i just pay what i can

oh, and did I mention the two swimming pools, the restaurant, the massage studio, and the tiki bar?
