$400 for west marine fishing and GO

I have a $400 WM card and the boat needs a trolling rig for near costal cruising

I have 2 nice trout/bass poles but I don’t have much experience with heavy stuff.

With limited space for rod storage, I'd suggest trolling using Cuban yoyos. You can set up two lines for ~ $35 all in. A whole stack, with a variety of lures will fit in a bucket. Also flatline clips.

41" Rockfish on a plug using a yoyo.

Do you have a little more detail on that setup and how to works while underway?

The best suggestions of fishing gear for cruisers is this book. https://www.amazon.com/Cruisers-Hand...ustomerReviews

Before you spend $$ this book will steer you right and save you money.

I have no connection to this guide other than a very pleased customer.
