Rio Dulce Good For Refit Work?

I'm interested in any information about the level of boat refurbishment and upgrade capabilities availabe in the Rio Dulce area. Specifically, is this a good place to get woodworking and aluminum welding done ? We're interested in a new interior and fabricating a radar arch, bimini top, and swim platform. The Turks and Caicos is not a good place to refit, and I'm looking hard at moving us and the boat west for a few years.
