BVI to Miami

If all goes as planned its like we will be purchasing our new boat in Tortola and then sailing her back home to Miami in mid to late May. Does anyone have any suggestions and or recomendations- Please share any thoughts as they will be greatly appreicated.
Thank you

Re: BVI to Miami

That's a great time of year to make that trip--you should have decent weather for it. Do you plan to do the passage non-stop, or will you be island hopping? No need for folks to wax eloquently on their favorite anchorages along the way if you're doing it non-stop.

Re: BVI to Miami

Hey Saillovers,
We will be leaving Tortola about a month later (I know, hurricane season) and likewise headed to FLA. We will be traveling in a 39' Beneteau coming out of charter from Sunsail.
If you trip gets pushed back a month, let us know (wozamoya393@gmail.com). It would be great to have another boat sailing with us. We are planning to spread the trip over 3 weeks instead of pushing through as quickly as possible. Feel free to contact us as well if you would like to discuss ideas (but we have not done this trip before).
