Bradford marine hurricane storage

Has anyone hauled out at Bradford marine for the hurricane season. If so what are the pros and cons. Did it work well for you? Have a 42 ft. sailboat that we are only able to use oct till april. Thanks

Re: Bradford marine hurricane storage

Since it only takes a day to cross from florida to grand bahama it hardly seems worth the cost and inconvenience to keep it there. Just my two cents. But truthfully I have never hauled at bradford...

Re: Bradford marine hurricane storage

I used Bradford in the Bahamas once out of semi-necessity. Had rigging and engine problems on passage from Little Harbor to Ft Pierce. Ducked into Bradford to sort things out, and weather in Gulf Stream deteriorated before I could get underway. Timing of things led me to decide to lay up on the hard in their yard for the summer. I hired them to do a couple things for me, which turned out ok. They specialize in servicing the big power yachts, not 37 foot sailboats like mine but there were a few sailboats stored there also. Gated facility. Dan Romence managed the location, and my experience with him and the facility was excellent.
