Boat storage for hurricane season

We are new cruisers currently in the Bahamas and are planning on bringing the boat back to the USA to store for the Hurricane season while we go back home to Canada for the summer. We are in a 37' Cat with a beam of 20'6" and a draft of 3' 6". We purchased the boat in Brunswick last fall, but we are looking for alternatives on the southern east coast. We do not want to go to far north so the trip back south next fall is not to long. We are planning on storing the boat from June through to October. Last year the boat was in the water, but we would also like to consider putting it on the hard. Any advice and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Ralph

Two large Florida DIY yards with boats stored seasonally "on the hard" are Green Cove Springs Marina up the St. Johns River from Jacksonille, Florida and the Westland Marine Yard at the Titusville Yacht Basin at Titusville, Florida. There is also some excellent hurricane storage protection on the Okeechobee Waterway, but you likely can't make the vertical clearance unless you decide to reach LaBelle, Florida from the Gulf of Mexico side. 'take care and joy, Aythya crew

Indiantown Marina, Indiatown, Fl., has a number of cats stored there every year.
