Bermuda Layover?

Hi,
I'm bringing my boat from Mid-Atlantic to N. Caribbean (PR or VI) after hurricane season. If the weather forecast looks favorable, I plan on leaving the third week of Oct. The catch is I need to be back stateside by the 15th of Nov for a couple month period. I may only have time to get to Bermuda, if the weather doesn't co-operate. Has anyone left their boat in Bermuda for a couple months? Would the sail from Bermuda-PR be much different in Nov vs. Jan?

We left the boat for 6 months. There were no issues but from memory you have to get the OK from Bermuda Customs. For us this wasn't a problem as we were having work done and boat was taken out of water. The yard provided the necessary letter to Customs. Marina fees/charges are high.
