Which Anti-fouling bottom paint in Italy?

I need some help from you old Med hands on which bottom paint to use!

My wife and I sailed our Antares 44i from Florida to the Med last year. Right now, s/v Valleycat is tied up in Marina di Ragusa, Sicily, a wonderful place.

Next month, the yard will haul our boat and clean and give her a couple of coats of anti-fouling. Our last paint job, done just over a year ago in Stuart, FL, was with Petit Trinidad Pro Black. We were very pleased with this hard paint of 8500nm, and would like to find an equivalent.

Question: What is an equivalent hard (non-ablative paint in the EU). The Marina di Ragusa Yard uses International products, and I am wondering if International VC Offshore EU Black is what I am looking for.

Does anyone have any direct experience here?

Thanks so much!

I have been very happy with Seajet Platinum in black on my cat. It has lasted very well for two seasons ( including nearly one year tied up in a marina ) and could actually serve well for another season. I applied 3 coats.

Regarding the VC Offshore I have heard negative comments for use in the Med.

I applied VC Offshore on a previous boat in a high fouling area in the Solent. It wasn't great unless you kept the boat constantly moving and the following year nothing stuck to it so it all had to come off. I won't be using it again.
