Re: Cruising guide books for the Med?

i have the following on the bookshelf:

..Adriatic Pilot by Imray
..Baggaley's Islas Baleares
..Mediterranean France and Corsica Pilot by Heikell
and.. Greek Waters Pilot by Heikell again

jimbsail.info website is a pretty good online primer...

..search "mediterranean winter marinas" here for some informative threads..

..and the med cruising group on facebook is also a good place to bounce questions.

I have all the Imray books. They are good for ports and services.

For anchorages I found Navily to be far more helpful.

NMuir,

Navily - the app? I'm not familiar, but I will check it out. The website looks great!

Chubby, thanks for the book recommendations!

Navionics charts also have a lot of Crowd sourced info. Good to review on an iphone etc

I bought the Ionian book and found Navily more useful. The book stayed home.

I wonder if the same is valid for Greece since the book is so old (2006)?
