Turkey law does not allow for cremation.

Hope you find what you're looking for.

There are none so far, as far as I know. The Orthodox Church -- the national church of Greece -- doesn't allow it, and neither do the Muslims in Turkey. If you die in the Aegean, you will have to be shipped home to be cremated, or get buried like the locals on both sides of the Aegean.

Re: Crematorium in Turkey or Greece.

Might want to check into Greece a bit more. I'm not sure how religious their government is. This article: First Greek crematorium on the way | Athens News says that the first crematorium was being built in Greece in 2011 in Zografou, Athens. In case it's not finished yet, that same article points to a solution followed by some Greek: transport the body to Sofia, Bulgaria for cremation.

P.S. Yes, Turkey is supposed to be secular, but still no cremation allowed.

Re: Crematorium in Turkey or Greece.

thanks for the input. I have now found out that there are NO crematoriums operating in either GREECE or TURKEY. The nearest is BULGARIA in Sofia.
