Anyone from Perth, PLEASE HELP

Hi Everyone,

I am writing on behalf of my parents. This weekend they were on their boat in Matilda Bay, and when the returned to their trailer, someone had hit the trailer with their car and completely written it off. They left a bogus number on a note...

Now my parents boat is stranded in Matilda Bay.

Apparently all the dry stack docks are full, and transport.au SUMS program was less than helpful....

Does anyone have a temporary mooring we can pay to use!?

Estimate is months to have trailer fixed.

Also, did anyone see the incident? It was between 10am and 5pmpm Saturday (20th), at Matilda bay boat ramp.

Any help at all immensely appreciated!

Perhaps contact Nedlands Yacht Club or Royal Flying Squadron and see if they have a temporary use spare mooring they can assist with.

How does someone hit a trailer with their car hard enough to write it off? See if there are cameras there someplace? or around the exit maybe. Should be easy to spot a car with massive damage to it.

Hi Armsfour, although I do not live in Perth anymore, I believe all moorings on the Swan and Canning rivers (that includes Matilda Bay), are managed by Department of Transport. Here is a link: https://www.transport.wa.gov.au/imar...-wa-waters.asp.

Or another avenue is enquire with all the sailing/boating clubs who have marinas on the Swan river. I sure there is a pen/slip in one of these clubs.... hmmm, that will cost $$$ though.
