If they are still in existence after the hurricane (s), Weech's Bimini dock is the one at which to stay. Just be sure you aren't going with a "New York" attitude, or you will be treated to a "conch" attitude. Tell them Leon sent you.

Was there a few months ago; stayed 2 nites during a storm. Lots of new dock hardware on site, but we stayed at a dock that was at some risk of detaching from the only piling keeping it fastened. I redid dock lines some 12 times that nite....

$2/ft, for one nite; but a great deal on the weekly rate. Choose your dock carefully.

Re: Cheap good marina Bimini

Team Karst, are you referring to the marina at the south end of South Bimini? I was there years ago while staying in a house in Port Royale. At that time, the docks were closed. I was told that it was a pretty great place before it was severely damaged in a storm. I just googled it, but had no success finding any information. Thanks.

Yeah; Used to be called Bimini Sands, been sold once or twice, now Bimini Cove.

Fuel is OK; VG restaurant in walking distance; has a on-site laundry; wife says pool is VG;
Just watch out for the POS docks; should be enough good ones available to find. We even walked to the ferry dock. $3 for ferry. Dock $2/ft, weekly was $150 for us.

Sorry to see all the hating on Bimini. We always have a great time there:

Good marinas with helpful staff.
Nicest people in the world.
Great diving (the Bimini Barge at 90ft is a world class dive).
Easy and friendly Customs and Immigration.
Great bone fishing.

The only problem with going into Bimini is always staying several extra days.

Fine a fellow sailor with a sewing machine. When I was in Tampa. I notice on a bulletin board advertisement for sewing by fellow sailors. I needed one for my C-22. Saved money

Re: Cheap good marina Bimini

We just Left Bimini last week (3/14/2022).

We stayed at Browns for $1.25/Ft, plus metered water and metered electric. Great staff, they made a seafood dinner for everyone one night, and always helpful.

-Blue Water Marina was about $2.00/Ft plus metered electric and water.
-Big Game Marina was the most expensive, forget how much per Ft, but they were more expensive than anyone else. A big PV joined us in Brown's after starting out in Big Game and they said they were surprised with a $75/day fee for electric and another per day fee for water.
-Weeches Marina is boarded up, closed.

Any suggestions? Latest prices?
Check with the casino on the north end, Resorts World Bimini. They have a big new wharf and marina, and may have deals if you ‘stay and play’. Might be worth gambling 40-60 bucks for a possible free slip?
