Bavaria 38

Hello,
After having sold my first boat (Oceanis 411) 13 years ago I'm about to buy my second one. I'm interested in a Bavaria 38 but can anyone tell me the real headroom in the main room? I ask this question because I went to visit a Bavaria 36 announcing 1.90m of headroom but it is not exact, especially in front of the galley where I had to bend over a little and I am 1,85m tall. This sailboat is 1000 km from home and don't want to go that far just to find that I can't stand up without problems. The broker is not really cooperative his reply to my question "We do not know the exact measurements. You are very welcome for a viewing."

I don't have the answer for you about the Bavaria 38 specifically, but can tell you that most boats don't have a consistent headroom throughout the saloon due to the shape of the deck/top. Many boats have a sloping profile with the companionway being the tallest section. It's true for our Beneteau and others I've been on.
