Simplicity: Yacht Owners Feared Dead After Escapees Recaptured (Grenada)

This is terrible. Anyone has more information?

Quote:
The three Grenadian prisoners who escaped from police custody on the Southern Caribbean island on February 18 and made their way to St. Vincent by hijacking the catamaran yacht “Simplicity” are now being investigated after the vessel’s owners are believed to be dead.

This is horrible. We met Ralph & Kathy a couple years ago. Very lovely people. Heartbreaking. I don’t have words

Knew them as well. Met them in Newport in 2020, then a year later in Marsh Harbor. Great people. Had dinner on their boat.

There has been a GoFundMe set up by a friend of the family for funeral arrangements and costs associated with recovery of the vessel.
