Missing Parents Haiti area?

This post turned up on Facebook today, it sounds like a real mystery to me?
Two Young Children Found By Fishermen At Sea On The South Coast of Haiti
Boatwatch.org has been asked for assistance from a missionary from Haiti to investigate an incident where local Haitian fishermen, in a small rural village on the South coast of Haiti, rescued two young children at sea in some form of life raft or other flotation device.
They have been taking care of them for maybe several months. They are both well taken care of. One female is six years old and the other one is younger. They are both Caucasians do not speak Creole, Spanish or English.
This is a very remote area. We need to speak to someone who has knowledge of these girls. They possibly are from a live-aboard family in Ile-a-Vache.
We have spoken with Raymond Bideaux who is the moderator of the FB group Ile-a-Vache Cruisers. He is helping in this case.
We need to speak to David Rangler who has seen the children and is living in Haiti. He drives a dump truck and his family is a former missionary. Kimpus Michele is his partner or co-worker.
This information has been reported to the National Center For Missing and Exploited Children.
Anyone with information should contact Eddie@Boatwatch.org

Here is the original post I believe, with an update that no further help is needed at this time:

UPDATE: We have individuals on the ground who are working on this.

This is a sensitive matter.

NO FURTHER HELP IS NEEDED AT THIS TIME.

BUT ASK THAT NO FURTHER PEOPLE GET INVOLVED AT THIS TIME. THANK YOU.
