Tartan 27-2 asking $7900.00

We have found our "THE BOAT", so we are selling our Tartan 27-2, built in 1978. She has been great, especially for shallow waters. Currently located in Brookhaven, NY, off Bellport Bay. Bottom has been bead blasted and barrier coated, many upgrades over the years including electric auxiliary motor, which has been great! Very reliable, quiet, low maintenance, superior maneuverability, year round sailing if so inclined. I have sailed this boat on mild winter days, and those were wonderful, albeit chilly. Set up for simplicity. Electronics are VHF and depth. Roller furling on 135% genoa with new continuous furler line, gennaker on own furler, main has lazy jacks and two reef points, cockpit cushions, wheel steering, compass. Down below are new cushions, Origo two burner stove, new Whale foot pump, new vinyl cabin sole, new opening ports, added LED cabin lights, LED anchor light, rebuilt centerboard mechanism, oversize Danforth anchor and chain/nylon rode, dinghy outboard motor bracket, most running rigging has been replaced, masthead sheaves are new, mast has been re-wired, new bilge pump, shore power, much more! As much I as I would like to keep both boats, practical matters say otherwise. Any reasonable offer will be considered.

Hello! Yes, she is still available. I have been hoping for a good day to sail her, but timing has not worked out. As such, still in the water ready to sail.
