[SOLD] Immaculate Fountaine Pajot Antigua for sale

We are selling our Fountaine Pajot Antigua 37 $135,000 ovno. Currently in Fort Pierce Florida.

Sadly due to health reasons we are very reluctantly parting with our boat.

She is a 1991 and is worth your consideration for her excellent condition, amazing inentory and simplicity of maintenance and operation. She comes with every base covered for the serious cruiser.

She is not yet listed with a broker but we have one visiting us tomorrow so this may change.

Since we brought her four years ago she has undergone a massive overhaul.

Stripped to bare hull she has been re sprayed (Quantum 99) over three coats of epoxy primer. All the non skid was ground back and redone. Below the waterline we applied four coats of Interlux 2000 and then antifoul. Every fitting was removed and re bedded, all new cast acrylic in hatches and port lights.

The entire boat has been rewired and all charging systems professionally integrated. She has a Magnum charger inverter, 600watts of solar (2014) an Air Breeze wind generator (2014). 675amp hour house bank, plus two engine start batteries. Huge fridge and freezer. Three anchors, one on 200ft of all chain. Lewmar windlass (2014). New Garmin 10in plotter and radar (2018). 9ft Aluminium hull rib with 6hp Tohatsu (2017) with custom chaps. Sat phone with external antenna, AIS, two handheld VHF, one Garmin handheld GPS. 12v Water maker (Pur Survivor 40e). New Bimini, sailbag and interior soft furnishings. Sails in good order and she comes with a new asymmetric in an ATN sock. Dodger glass replaced 2018. Force Ten Barbeque, Force Ten 3 burner stove and oven plus much much more. Two heads both with holding tanks one with a macerator. Engine spares galore including spare alternator, water pump and starter. Engines are twin 2GM20F. Plus all the usual suspects, flares, life preserves etc.

There are just too many other things to mention but if you are interested we would do a full inventory.

If you have ever seen a boat advertised as "just add water and go" then this is the best description I can come up with.

that is a fine looking boat Fluff. Sorry to hear about your miseries with health. She is immaculate. I have two boats already. If i even mention another boat i will be wifeless. I know how much effort and money it takes to do what you have done. I think she will sell fast at that price point. Wish you good luck with health and sell of your cat.

Thanks for all your kind words, sincerely that means a great deal to us given our unfortunate circumstances. Lot of sweat equity in her but we'do do it again in a heartbeat.

Feel like we have given her a new lease of life and we are very proud of what the two of us have achieved.

Hi, I saw your boat at a distance in the Marina at Ft. Pierce when I was there to see the Mahe 36. I see that you have lovingly restored it and equipped it for cruising. I would consider buying it but the price is so high that I haven't contacted you. I am retired from the military and must conserve my retirement assets and don't believe your boat would sell for nearly as much as you are asking after the period of time I would own her. Please don't be offended but I would only be willing to pay at most $95,000US, I saw a similarly equipped Antigua in Spain for $85,000, but didn't commit because of the visa rules and yachting regulations. In any case, my compliments on a beautiful refit of a nice boat. Brian

Thanks for your interest but the boat was sold in a week for the full asking price and I have no doubt in could have got a little more if I had waited for the dozen or so serious enquires to get to her location. She was/is exceptional and I feel if you stood any similar model next to her you would quickly see why she sold to the first person that saw her.

Good luck in your search but if you want a good cruising cat for your budget you will have to put years of sweat equity into it and probably more money than the difference between your budget and my selling price. Sad but true. The paint job alone would have cost you $35,000 or $8,000 in materials and a year of your time to complete. Every single fitting on the boat inside and out was removed before we started to 're finish.
