We know Bruce and he designed our boat. His boat "Saga", was a Fantasia 35 MKI of his own design not the Saltram.

Bruce has worn many hats including being a very good sailor, a naval architect, boat builder and of course a well known author and illustrator.

My wife and I bought Ellida in 1997 and spent 3 years fitting her out. She was a wonderful home for us for 13 years having cruised from UK in 2000 to the Americas then through Panama to NZ and Australia before heading to Malaysia where she currently lies. Sadly my wife died and I have no wish to continue without her, so Ellida must be sold.

I had the coachroof and cockpit repainted, fitted a new Furuno radar system and renewed her standing rigging in 2012/13 and she has not sailed since. She was moth-balled after illness struck in 2013 and on my return at the end of September this year it seems that the engine has seized. It's a Yanmar 4JH3E and I am in the process of having her properly reconditioned by qualified engineers, this is expected to take about 4 weeks.

Her condition is excellent both inside and out and it would require very little work to put her back into harness.

Having read the above, members will understand that I am prepared to 'take a hit' on this in order to effect a quick sale. I am asking EUR 40,000. There is a vast amount of kit that goes with this including a virtually unused Honda 2000 generator plus many tools, charts, SSB, RX only AIS, VHF, GPS.

My son lives in Singapore and we've been looking for a nice family cruiser in SEA. Is she still available? I've not used CF for messages before so don't know if I would get an alert if you respond here. You may also email me at dlc_engineering@yahoo.com.
Thank you for your response in advance.
