1983 C&C 35 Mark III

Katahdin is currently in Kittery, Maine and I am asking for $36,000.

KATAHDIN is a great example of a classic C&C 35 Mark III. Blending performance with comfortable cruising amenities, she has been meticulously maintained and upgraded by her current/recent owners. She has been maintained by Hinckley Yachts in Southwest Harbor, Maine and Kittery Point Yacht Yard in Kittery, Maine and recent improvements include new hull paint, new windlass, new sails, new electronics, a new tender with outboard, a custom teak boarding step, and more. She is very clean and is ready to go for her next owner. I have a detailed list of improvements and upgrades that I could share with interested individuals.

I also have a 10 foot inflatable and a 2.5HP Lehr outboard (both new in August 2015) that I could include for the buyer.

I'm looking to find a new owner that can use the boat more often than work and family have allowed for me. The boat is currently on a mooring in Kittery, Maine and could remain through the 2017 season. I am open to all serious offers.

She has a fin keel with draft of ~6 feet - I had the hull to keel joint resealed in 2015.

Continuous stainless rod throughout - backstay was replaced in 2015, unknown on rest.

The following from a survey I commissioned in 2015:

"Standing rigging was continuous stainless rod with open body turnbuckles. Where visible, no signs of damage or unusual wear were observed on the accessible portions of the rigging or turnbuckles. Rod cold heads and stainless Nav-Tangs used to secure the standing rigging to the mast. They appear secure."

I'm asking for $36,000 and, for that price, would allow the buyer to use a mooring at the mouth of the Piscataqua River through the season.

That said, I'm open to any serious offers!
