These new M2 Mantus anchors look nice. Need a new 55lb for the boat to stay put at anchor. https://www.mantusmarine.com/m2-anchor/

Re: MANTUS MARINE GIVEAWAY - ends Nov 24, 2020

I was just looking at the Mantus Scuba Pack yesterday and thinking it would be just the thing for checking prop or untangling pot warp or any number of underwater tasks. Really like the compact size so I can always have it on board rather than carrying around full size tanks.

https://www.mantusmarine.com/product...mantus-anchor/

i believe that tests have shown that Mantus is one of the best anchors at resetting after a wind shift pushes the boat the other way. Thus is a very good choice for a storm anchor, cuz it can be stowed in the bilge when not in use due to the bolts.

https://www.mantusmarine.com/product...mantus-anchor/

The Mantus has been shown to have good holding in all bottom types, thus makes for a great all around anchor.

https://www.mantusmarine.com/product...mantus-anchor/

And just in case that the roll bar doesn't fit on my bow roller, the M2 Mantus makes for a great choice for a working anchor.

https://www.mantusmarine.com/product...ss-steel-hook/

And you can't be without some accessories for that anchoring system, so a chain hook for your anchor.

https://www.mantusmarine.com/product...el-chain-hook/

N ya never know what size chain hook you will need, so a 5/16" as well.

https://www.mantusmarine.com/product...mantus-anchor/

N since you are anchored not tied up to the dock, you will need a dinghy anchor.

https://www.mantusmarine.com/product/s1-mantus-swivel/

You don't want to get hockles in your chain or rode, so you will need a cuppla swivels.

This would look excellent under my Christmas tree and would work wonderfully when working or hunting under the boat!

Well, since I just bought a M1 and swivel, moving down my list of Mantus stuff I want ...

Mini SCUBA system https://www.mantusmarine.com/mantus-scuba/ ... I'm on the hard right now, P&P'ing the bottom and would sure like to be able to jump in and do quick scrapes after we're in the water. Tough to get a diver in my neck of the woods.

Re: MANTUS MARINE GIVEAWAY - ends Nov 24, 2020

I keep hoping to win a galvanized 45lb M2 anchor. I expect that it performs very well as it is very similar to the Spade anchor which I had, but at a more attractive price.

https://www.mantusmarine.com/m2-anchor/

If I won the Grand Prize then with the balance after the anchor I would get the 1" stainless rail clamps. I have used the nice white plastic ones for years but the sun slowly turns them to powder.

https://www.mantusmarine.com/mantus-rail-clamp/

Thanks for doing this!

Re: MANTUS MARINE GIVEAWAY - ends Nov 24, 2020

We will be sailing from the Mediterranean across the Atlantic across the Pacific all the way to New Zealand we would love to test one of these anchors out in all the different sea beds that were going to come across. And feel safe doing so I think we would need the 39 kg one?

Re: MANTUS MARINE GIVEAWAY - ends Nov 24, 2020

I absolutely LOVE and rely on my 55 lbs M1 Anchor, Swivel, M2 Chain Hook, and 8 lbs M1 “Dingy” Anchor and would love to have the Mantus Scuba Pack for changing the zinc, cleaning the prop, setting all the anchors during a TS or hurricane: https://www.mantusmarine.com/product/mantus-scuba-pack/

And I could use a few Mantus Snubber Pendants and
Mantus Mooring Snap Shackles:

Thank you again for such great products and this wonderful opportunity!
