Onan Cummins MDKDN generator lift pump

I have a 2020 Lagoon 42. The generator would not stay running and gave me a error 7 code (No raw water flow). It has less than 300 hours of use. I was able to determine the lift pump is not getting power. When I supplied alternate power supply the lift pump and generator work fine. Does anyone have an idea what may be causing it? Thanks in advance.

My first thought is that you do indeed have a raw water flow problem that needs to be resolved and supplying power to the lift pump has somehow bypassed the shutdown circuit. Visually check the water flow, inspect or test the sender and don’t run it for too long with the “ alternate power”. It could be as simple as a stripped pump impeller or blocked sea strainer.

Thanks for your response. I found the fuse for the lift pump this morning. It was bad. It was under board where the battery cutoff. They were a little hard to see. It was an easy fix once I found where they are.
