Does anyone have the charge profile for West Marine AGMs?

I'd like to find specific voltage recommendations for bulk, absorbtive, float, and storage for these batteries: West Marine Group 31 "Premium" AGM 105 Ah "Optimum Performance".

I presume they are manufactured by West Penn and might be similar to the Deka model. I know that the typical advice is to call the manufacturer, but I think someone might already have this information.

They were purchased in a sale a few months ago.

Thanks.

All AGM's are essentially the same as it's their chemistry that dictates the charge profile.

Use your charge controllers AGM setting and if you can add a temp sensor this in beneficial.

Maybe look up Deka Intimidator AGM batteries by East Penn... and compare labeling and connectors. The case color is the same...

Recommended charge profiles for Lifeline and Odyssey AGMs are different from each other.

West Marine is not the manufacturer.

I would not buy a label that did not have good tech support and docs readily available.

Download the specs from Trojan and Deka wrt their AGMs, if not the same use middle / average values, will be close enough.

Would be great if someone could identify exactly who the OEM is.

If not the above, maybe Full River?

Pretty sure it's neither of those, nor Northstar.

Why I went with second-tier makers (for AGM)

But really, it's true that picking middle-of-road setpoints by comparing multiple vendors' specs, will really do no harm for any of them.

Longevity doesn't come from the settings, but how well the bank's actual resulting care compares to the coddling ideal, especially temperature, regularly hitting endAmps Full and reasonable SoC at the bottom end

Correct, but I was responding to the post about all AGM's being the same. Not.

I think OP's battery may be a Deka/East Penn -- but that's just from the looks of the case in that one pic. Otherwise, I don't have any insight as to who OEMs West Marine's batteries.

I agree, but in the absence of the vendor providing a precise spec, ridiculous as that is,

and until we figure out who the OEM is,

I stand by
