Current usage

Hello I have a 55" sailboat @ dock in St. Maarten . I'm using Battery Tender to maintain 8 6volt batteries. The system is working fine, all green lights. The system is to use no more than 2.3 kwh per day @ full load. It is not at full load while in green light float. Problem is I'm using 9 kwh per day. I have the system plugged in direct to shore power not though the boat. What am I missing here?
Thank you
Cheers TJ

Bad dock wiring?

I had a shore power cable drop in the water once where it was daisy chained to another. Caused power to still run through the wires but the sea water short circuited so my power usage spiked.
