Calculating House Bank DC Fuse size.

Have not been able to find any guidance on sizing the Main Fuse for my new 24 volt house bank

So I took the conservative approach of assuming every DC consumer was turned on at the same time and both invertors were putting out maximum DC to AC conversion.

This is how I plan on wiring the 8 new 12 volt 260AH AM’s for 24Volt service with Main Fuse then new Master switch going to main Distribution Studs.

From the calculations of consumers below should the ratings of equipment be sized as such?
  • Distribution stud 400A
  • Battery Switch 400A
  • Fuse Rating 350A
  • Wiring sized for 400A
Is this how you do it?..... Thanks!

Consumer ..................................DC 24v Amps
Inverter 1800 Watt ............................... 75.00
Inverter 3000 Watt ...............................125.00
Auto pilot ................................................12 .00
4 x Isotherm Fridges ...............................12.00
Nav Lights .................................................6 .00
Nav Electronics .........................................2.00
E.R. Lights .................................................. 5.00
Lights/Fans ................................................8. 00
Bow Thruster ...........................................50.00
Anchor Windlass .....................................45.00
Other............................................. ....5.00
Total DC 24V Amps............................345

Working on the principle of the fuse protecting the wiring you rating sounds reasonable, you have rated the main fuse to be higher than the max. load and less than the wiring / hardware rating.
As soon as the downstream wiring and / or bus is rated lower than 350 amps, additional protection is required "downstream".
