General Info: First Cat Cruise Coming Up - L400S2

Long time monohull sailors (I have never sailed aboard a multihull other than beach cats like the hobie 16) with liveaboard plans, my wife and I have just begun to consider a catamaran rather than a mono.

We are living in Hong Kong and have swung a deal on a Bareboat L400S2 charter from Phuket to Langkawi so we can experience a cruising cat. We will sail from phuket to langkawi 7 days were some of the crew will fly home and then I will return the boat to phuket with the crew that is left in 3-4 days.

It would be interesting if anyone can give me input how the boats sails, things to check, watch out for etc.

Also if anyone has tips on where to stop on this trip and that kind of pointers.
