Sailing out of Fort Myers Beach on August 7 for a week in the Berry Islands, with a day or two in Bimini on the way back. Be back in Fort Myers area around the 20th.

Boat is a Westsail 28.

Looking for one fun laid back person, may consider two if they share a bunk.

Looking at about $400 for one, $500 for two.

This is a fun laid back trip.

Most not be allergic to dogs.

So 13 days from the West Coast FL to the Berry's and back, in a 28' boat? Sounds like a delivery schedule! AND it's Hurricane Season! Unless you sail (and motor, as there are a lot of calm days now) 24/7 you are looking at 5 days each way... Minimum

No offense, but you might want to re-assess that trip.

The plan-

Sailing and motor sailing if need be non stop from Fort Myers Beach, under the 7 Mile Bridge in Marathon, and up and over to the Berrys. Should take around 48-55 hours from Fort Myers Beach to Chub Cay.

If we aint making 4 knts, the engine is running!

The trip back is Berrys to Bimini. A few days in Bimini fishing with a buddy and his power boats.

Then Bimini direct to Stuart, long day sail. Go as far to the locks as day light and lock openes work. The next day is motoring across the lake, lake level pending, to the Franklen Locks. From the Franklen Lock we are a half day back to my docks. And if need be I can let the crew off in Down Town Fort Myers city docks to catch a cab to the air port or what ever.

I am planing 5-7 days in the Berrys, and a day or two in Bimini.

Plan B-
If a storm is pening Dry Tortugas and maybe Key West.
