Crew Available: Honduras to Panama Dec 2013?

I am looking to work as a crew member or catch a ride by boat from Roatan/Guanaja to Panama in mid-late December 2013 (17th-ish). If you know of any sailors, cruisers, commercial boats who need another crew member or are willing to have a passenger, I'd love your help in connecting to them. Thanks!

It's Possible.. I was down there in Dec Jan Feb etc. and talked to most of the cruisers and some did indeed go on to Panama.. Particularly nasty run if you get any kind of weather... I doubt if you going to find a Commercial boat going that way.. and if you did.. I don't think you would want to be on it...

We will be along sometime this winter but coming up from Panama to Roatan ...

But if..... I were you I would post the same request this December, Get to know the forum... And talk to some of your fellow cruisers here... Try to get in more than 1 post.. and by the time Dec rolls in and you are down at West End Roatan talking to Tom Allen, or one of those Cruisers that circulate every year, you will know a lot more and possibly be recognized by those that chat about anchoring etc. down that time of year.. (do a search here about anything "Roatan")

There is also a VHF radio net that broadcasts on channel 70 I think at 8am for the vessels in that area for notices and communications. U could put your request out on that too....

So, I meant to put December 2012 not next year. That being said, does your vessel have any need for an extra worker? I could reverse my trip and do Panama to Roatan instead of the other way around.

Ha Ha.... No... Mine is a Private Sport-Fish Yacht, and we have no Itinerary except we plan to be somewhere around there in Dec, And Jan...

Will be headed to Panama from Guatemala in December 2012 or January 2013.
Haven't started to assemble a crew, but will take on 1, 2 or 3 for all or part of Panama and Colombia cruising.
Well equipped 44' cutter making the 4th trip to the region.
